Discover Dungog This September – Art, Gardens, Country Carnivals & More

From the rolling green hills to the creative heart of the community, Dungog comes alive in September with a vibrant mix of exhibitions, events and open spaces to explore. It all begins with the Sculpture on the Farm Opening Celebration on Thursday 29 August, launching a month-long celebration of creativity across the region.

Whether you’re drawn to contemporary sculpture, country carnivals, garden rambles, creative workshops or quirky trails (hello, Pelicans of Paterson!), this is the perfect time to take a drive, stay a while, and experience the charm of Dungog Shire.

To help you make the most of your visit, we’ve broken the month into four week long itineraries. From open gardens and exhibitions to creative workshops, scenic drives and cycling trails, there’s something for every kind of visitor—whether you’re here for a day trip or staying longer.
