Upper hunter living artists (uhla) festival

Suzannah Jones AUH

The Upper Hunter Living Artists Festival emerges as a fresh concept, a burgeoning idea on the cusp of realisation. If successfully funded, UHLA will celebrate the visual and performing artists residing in the Upper Hunter region. Throughout its proposed week-long duration, this event will offer artists of all backgrounds the chance to showcase their work or engage in creative activities across diverse venues and events. From regional art galleries to live music venues, museums, cafes, wineries, sheds, hallways and even cupboards, participants could have the opportunity to share their creativity with the community, sell work or tickets and build their profile.

Formulated within the framework of the Creative Valleys: Cultural Trails of the Upper Hunter initiative, UHLA aims to contribute significantly to the cultural tourism allure of the region. Keep an eye out as we propel this event forward, breathing life into its conception.
